A Customers Experience
A customer attended my safety presentation and thanked me for what she learned, pointing out that my statement of 'what if' and 'just in case' resonated with her. She told me that she hadn't put much thought into her safety. She purchased product that very night. She told me she never leaves home without her Pepper Spray and always has it set to 'on' for that 'just in case' moment.

Then it happened. She was in a parking lot and was approached by a threatening person. She heard his foot steps coming from behind her as she was loading groceries and her instinct kicked in. She turned around, pointed the pepper spray at him and hollered 'stop' at the top of her lungs. He backed away and took off. When she felt she was safe, she went back to the store and reported the incident to the manager and gave a description of him. For those of you that live in the South Bay, this happened in Redondo Beach.
The police can't do anything unless a crime has been committed. Her Pepper Spray stopped the crime from being committed. This lady was lucky. Her experience is a testimonial to reality. This random act could have ended differently; robbery, assault or kidnapping. Predators don't care that you have a family to go home to.
I hope you will put yourself in this situation. Without something in your hand to protect you, what could happen and what would you do? We have criminals crossing our borders; drug dealers, the cartel and sex traffickers and they are in our neighborhoods. They are online after our children too. I hope my sharing this lady's experience brings some awareness to the dangers that are around us. Remember, predators hide in plain sight. If you see something, say something. If it feels dangerous or uncomfortable it probably is.
